I run an article directory on my site, and I am seeing an increasing amount of articles being published, only for the backlink given in the Resource Box. This might be due to the increasing variety of PLR articles and material that is becoming available.

Now, there"s not necessarily anything wrong with this, I only think that writers who are doing this are passing up on potential traffic and/or clients. Such reference boxes is only going to gain their site rankings in incoming links that are valued by any search engine.

Is this a bad thing? No. Where they"re losing out can be as follows.

Much of the traffic to my report listing comes from search engines, by people looking for info on a certain topic. Now, this user types in their key-words, clicks on the search field, and is given a listing of relevant sites. They selected one, and are taken to the author"s article. They read the article about, say, snowboarding, believe "This is interesting" and go to the author"s source box by the end of the article to see what else they have to say on this issue. There, they look for a link to your site promotion mobile ringtones. May be the reader planning to be impressed, or thinking about this? Not very likely. They wish to check out snowboarding, maybe not modify their phone. I really believe among three things may happen then:

The reader leaves the entire site in disgust. Click Here contains further concerning the purpose of it.

The reader clicks on a link to your relevant article. If you are concerned by sports, you will seemingly claim to study about close window.

The reader clicks on a relevant Google Ad-sense (or similar contextual advertising) ad.

They do not click the author"s source link. That"s a possible client lost, very probably for good. Browse here at Discount Coupon Book 30696 to discover how to see about this activity.

Yes, put a link in to your website in the reference package, but most article websites allow many links, therefore for goodness sake put a link in that" ;s associated with the article subject as well, and ultimately put it in first, before you lose the consumer.

"But my site does not have such a thing related to that issue about it"!

You can add a thing that does. Include a post service, and have the source field saying "To read more articles on this subject, click the link." Add a web directory, and have the written text say "To look at links to sites with this subject, go here." Or simply visit ClickBank, try to find related projects, and have a link to them, together with the link saying something like "If you want to learn more on this issue, purchase this item." Preferably, not a direct link to the product, but a cloaked or redirected one.

Using this method, you still get that link to your site that you were after originally, but, also, you have the chance to make money from your audience in a new way. A situation. Plus, you don"t look like someone only publishing acquired information on any matter just for the sake of the backlink it will give you. A more professional look. Is not it worth taking the time to make better use of the resource box?.
